Is Neuromarketing Only Accessible to Large Brands?
Traditional neuromarketing research has mostly been used by big companies due to high costs. This article looks at more accessible AI-based options.
For many years, neuromarketing research that uses brain scanning was mainly used by large brands because of the high cost of running participant studies.
Smaller teams and independent creators generally could not afford traditional neuromarketing research. This meant that brain activity predictions remained largely inaccessible to most people creating video content.
Some AI-based tools now offer predictions of how the brain may respond to videos. These tools use models trained on existing neuroscience datasets rather than conducting new studies with participants for every test. This makes it possible to access certain types of predictions at a much lower cost than traditional neuromarketing research.
While these tools do not provide the same level of validation as participant-based studies, they allow more creators and smaller teams to use brain response predictions in their work.
