Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Your Right to Erasure
You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains exactly how, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.
This right is set out in the regulations that apply to you:
- GDPR Article 17 (EU and UK) — the right to erasure, also called the right to be forgotten.
- DPDP Act 2023, Section 12 (India) — the right to erasure of personal data.
- CCPA/CPRA Section 1798.105 (California) — the right to delete personal information.
These instructions cover both this website (wreltik.com) and the Wreltik platform (app.wreltik.com). The platform is where an account, uploads, and predictions exist; the website holds only cookie and language preferences plus server logs.
2. How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — Email request (use this if you cannot sign in, or if you want us to confirm scope first)
- Email [email protected].
- Use the subject line Data Deletion Request.
- Include the email address on your Wreltik account, your full name, and any detail that helps us locate the data (approximate sign-up date, or the name of a recent upload).
We verify the request against the account email before deleting anything. We complete verified requests within 30 calendar days and send a confirmation email when deletion is done. If we need more information to confirm that the request comes from the account holder, we tell you within 7 days.
Option 2 — Delete your account in the app (fastest, immediate)
- Sign in at app.wreltik.com.
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Select Delete Account, type
DELETEto confirm, and enter your current password.
Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out and the account cannot be recovered afterwards.
Option 3 — Revoke access through Facebook or Instagram
If you connected Wreltik through a Facebook or Instagram login, you can revoke that connection from Meta's side:
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites.
- Find Wreltik and choose Remove.
Removing the connection stops any future access through Meta. It does not delete data already stored by Wreltik, so also use Option 1 or Option 2 above. You can also request deletion directly from Meta's app dashboard if the app provides that option.
3. What We Delete
When a verified request is completed, we delete the personal data linked to your account:
- Account data — email address, name, credentials, profile settings, and multi-factor authentication enrolment.
- Uploaded content — videos and images you submitted.
- Predictions and history — your analysis results and prediction history.
- Consent records — the consent preferences recorded against your account.
- Usage data tied to your identity — activity records that can be linked back to you.
Uploaded files are processed transiently and are not retained after an analysis completes, so in most cases there is nothing left to delete on that item. We do not use your uploaded content to train or improve our AI models.
4. What We Keep, and Why
A small amount of data survives a deletion request, because the law requires it or because it is no longer personal data:
- Transaction and tax records — invoices and payment records we must retain to comply with accounting and tax law. These are kept for the statutory period and then deleted.
- Security logs — request logs on the platform are kept for 24 hours and then automatically deleted; website request logs are kept for a limited period. They are used for abuse prevention and service reliability, and are not used for profiling.
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics — counts and averages that cannot be traced back to a person.
If you ask, we will tell you which of these categories applies to your account.
5. Deleting Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
You do not have to delete everything at once:
- Individual predictions — delete any entry from your Prediction History at any time.
- Marketing emails — every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages; it does not touch account data.
- Website cookies — the website sets only the cookies that remember your consent choice and language preference. Clear them in your browser settings and the consent banner appears again. See our Cookie Policy.
6. Children's Data
The service is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 has provided personal data, we delete it and close the account. Report a case like this to [email protected].
7. Questions and Complaints
- Privacy requests and questions: [email protected]
- Other enquiries: contact page
- Full data practices: Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
If you believe we handled your request incorrectly, you can complain to your local supervisory authority — for example the Data Protection Board of India, or your national data protection authority in the EU or UK. We ask that you contact us first so we can resolve it directly.
